  1. Great post Renee. Have to agree with many of your points when it comes to WordPress. We have used WordPress and helped many others on the platform and to be truthful there’s always something new to learn. So many plugins, code tricks and tips, it is hard to pick them all up at once, but you get there gradually! Askimet is a good plugin to manage spam, which I find is more frequent when your site is E-commerce based. I guess all those extra products allow them to find you even more. Yoast is good too. Another great plugin is SEO redirection, if you don’t want the paid version of Yoast. This plugin allows you to redirect your 404 error pages to a page you make or to your website. In addition, another great plugin would be Widgets on Pages. Just too many, could ramble on all day.
