Time Is A Giant Pain In My

Toothaches are the absolute worst!

Of course, I would get one right at the start of a big giant goal. Now, I didn't get just any toothache. I got an extra special, extra unique kind.

I cracked the root of a tooth.

Seriously, how does someone even do that?

It is terrible, let me tell you. But the worst part is that it kept me from working on my goal. Not only that but because of the procedures that I will need in the future, it will keep me from working on my goal several times this year.

This is terrible!

BUT, it did get me to thinking about something.

I could either use it as an excuse NOT to achieve this big goal OR I could use it as a form of determination.

What I realized in my haze of pain while binge watching LIMITLESS is that in order to accomplish my goal, I couldn't over think everything.

This goal has forced me to cut out all of the crap. There is no time for overthinking everything. There is only time for getting the work done.

You see in the past, I spent a lot of time overanalyzing my content creation. That is why I created this video below. It was a reminder to me to keep blogging and release stuff.

So yesterday when I saw that someone had emailed me asking a couple of questions, it was the perfect moment to not overthink. Instead, I created two tutorial videos answering his question and a blog post that further explained it.

I didn't worry if the content was long enough. The only concern was whether or not it answered the questions that he had.

What I didn't realize when I set a goal of 1,000 helpful pieces of content was that it would force me to create. This goal is important to me and there are going to be challenges along the way. I am already behind because of a toothache. I will catch up BUT I will fall behind again.

The most important part of all of this is to simply add value where I can and when I can. Even if the goal isn't achieved, I will be better for the trying.
